The departure

Well, the day has arrived.

My dear Mama just dropped me off ~ flying from Portland 🇺🇸 🛫 Vancouver BC Canada 🇨🇦  🛫 Japan 🇯🇵

I’ll land in Japan at Midnight PST

& it will be 4 PM in Japan. 🇯🇵

I am hoping most of the 10 hour flight will be spent sleeping to help with the time change. Japan Airlines slogan is “fly into the future.” Guys, I’m literally a time traveler now…. 😋💁🏻😂

This trip I am bringing a simple backpack and the day pack pictured here.

I am very excited & also a bit nervous - in all my years of travel i have never gone this far away from home,

This will be my first experience on the continent of Asia.

One thing I’ve noticed when traveling in foreign countries, (when I don’t speak the language), is the quiet that comes from being surrounded by people you don’t understand.

I’ve noticed how potent energy is & how important it is to convey how you feel & what you need with your eyes.

A practice in telepathy I suppose. (I know my Uncle Ken will be proud) 😉

I believe that I am being called to Japan for a reason at this time. I’m not sure exactly what that reason is, but in my ALMOST THIRTY years of life if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that if we are willing to surrender to the Holy Spirit, we will be blessed beyond measure & more aligned than ever before. & so to Japan I go.

I also believe wherever we go, that’s where we are.

Solo Travel is the most potent spiritual practice I have found thus far in my life. To travel alone really informs me about what energy I am conveying to the world. After all, what you put out is what you get back.

Furthermore, being able to build relationships on very little words & primarily action is a potent way to measure my capacity to communicate. As most of you know, I love a challenge.

Today as I travel, I will be praying. I’d be honored to receive your prayers as well. Calling in my beautiful ancestors, Linda & Evelyn to travel with me this time around.

It means the world to me to have all of you in my pocket as well. Sending so much love to each one of you. Thank you all for being here & stay tuned for the adventure of a lifetime.
