Tokyo to the mountains

I got a cat and put it on the alter and prayed for joy & peace & harmony & growth for all of us. I am so grateful for intentional spaces like this in the world.
After this I went and got a haircut by a very stylish Japanese man. He spoke English and we had a lovely time sharing culture together. He slayed my hair- pictured above.
After this i went and got a memorial tattoo of my beloved black cat Wilbur. It was a 5 hour experience that i planned before coming. I was thrilled to see his face appear on my body.
After all of this i left Tokyo -
and i was very happy to do so. Although it was all very convenient - my natural rhythms align much more with a slower pace.
I find myself today traversing down into the mountains- the air feels cleaner and the rain is reminding me of home. A welcomed joy.
I am dealing with a case of poison oak that i unknowingly brought with from Oregon.
It’s said that it means feeling on the defense- so I’m practicing the mantra - i am safe and secure. I am protected. All is well.
A few dear friends of mine lovingly call it protector oak and so i am reframing my relationship with it as I try not to scratch.
I made it to Hakone and did part of what they call the Hakone loop which included a train- cable car- sky rope box- to a bus and another bus and another bus and another bus lol
The transportation is much slower in these parts. I was standing in rain waiting for the bus for so long - i started praying “i believe in miracles” and then an umbrella was given to me by some very kind humans.
I made it on to the right bus(es) and managed to make it by public transportation alone all the way to the most unreal mountain home near the base of Mt Fuji - called Peace One. Here I’ll stay on traditional Japanese mat beds.
It’s surprising comfortable -and my hosts here are so so kind. I’m thankful to have landed here a couple days. They have an onsen here at the property, i will admire its beauty as I can’t bathe until the oak is gone.
Today I will go on a dragon mountain ascension tour!! 🐉 i am currently staying on a mountain called Shashi, it’s said that it has dragon veins. This home where i am is a deeply spiritual place. I’m hoping to have an incredible experience. The people here are crystal healers. Magic is a foot.
Much love to you all. Talk soon!
I’ll send some pics later today.
